The P&H Grain Division is a comprehensive grain and crop input network, operating across approximately 45 locations in the prairie provinces, Ontario and Quebec. Our strategically positioned facilities, including grain elevators, rail sidings, inland terminals, and specialized export terminals, ensure that we effectively match producer grain with the needs of both domestic and export end users. Your Role

As the Sales Agronomist, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities for the location, while strengthening existing customer relationships through a high standard of service and excellent agronomic recommendations.

Day to Day

  • Foster and develop strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Scout fields and perform soil testing to assess agronomic needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Promote P&H products and services, clearly communicating their value and benefits to agricultural producers.
  • Collaborate with producers to develop practical, tailored solutions that support their business needs.
  • Negotiate and secure profitable business agreements the assigned location and the broader P&H organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Must currently hold a valid Professional Agrologist (P.Ag) or Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) certification
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in working directly with agricultural producers, with demonstrated progression in responsibility.
  • Proven sales and customer service skills, with a strong ability to execute strategic plans and maximize revenue potential
  • In-depth knowledge of regional crop production, along with hands-on experience delivering modern and effective crop protection solutions.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required.
