Your Role
We are currently seeking a dependable and motivated Facility Assistant – Crop Inputs to join our team. This hands-on role supports all aspects of the crop input operation, from receiving and organizing products to assisting customers and coordinating in-field logistics. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Day to Day
- Assist in blending fertilizer and handling crop protection products
- Receive, unload, and properly store incoming shipments
- Prepare and load customer orders for pickup or delivery
- Organize and manage inventory to maintain optimal stock levels
- Operate commercial vehicles, agricultural equipment, and material-handling machinery safely and efficiently
- Perform regular facility and equipment maintenance, including housekeeping tasks
- Coordinate in-season logistics, ensuring timely movement of equipment to the field
- Deliver outstanding customer service through every interaction
- Maintain compliance with all safety regulations and company standards
- Contribute to a safe, clean, and efficient working environment
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the operation of a grain elevator
- Possess a valid Canadian driver’s license in good standing authorizing you to drive independently during your employment.
- Experience as a team leader or supervisor
- Through knowledge and understanding of the grain industry, including grading factors and elevator equipment
- Trained in Health & Safety procedures and a champion for safe work environment
- Ability to work within an environment subject to dust and allergens
- Flexible work schedule
- Ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly (up to 50 lbs)
