Your Role
As Sr. System Support Analyst, the successful candidate will support critical operations and projects across P&H divisions by providing technical assistance and troubleshooting to end users of software applications and systems, both remotely and in person. They will ensure applications and systems run smoothly, process support tickets promptly, and assist with configuration and user maintenance.
Day to Day
- Respond to daily support tickets in JIRA quickly and efficiently.
- Build positive relationships with end users by understanding their business and project needs.
- Analyze and research issues/system errors, working with end users, IT, and support teams to troubleshoot problems.
- Participate in analysis, documentation, and requirements gathering for software changes and new functionality.
- Support evaluation of overall system functionality to identify improvements and anticipate future needs.
- Assist with quality assurance testing for software updates and releases.
- Support ERP system audits to ensure data integrity and resolve related issues.
- Create and maintain defect reconciliation from data integrity investigations.
- Review and resolve system integration errors with end users, IT, developers, and support teams.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in accounting and/or 2–4 years of accounting experience
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret conceptual situations
- High attention to detail
- Interest in leading and managing people
- Willingness to travel within Canada
