Your Role
As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), the successful candidate will provide strategic support to business leaders and employees across multiple divisions and locations throughout Canada within a federally regulated environment. This role will focus on optimizing performance, mitigating risk, and fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.Day to Day
- Provide guidance and coaching to senior leaders and front-line managers in areas such as performance management, progressive discipline, salary administration, conflict resolution, career development, attendance management, and employee relations.
- Assist employees with navigating available resources, professional development opportunities, workplace challenges, and other employee support initiatives.
- Work with management on collective agreement administration and interpretation, grievance investigations and resolution, and bargaining support.
- Participate in HR related projects and initiatives, including policy and program development, communications, and training.
- Create and deliver presentations and actively participate in quarterly management meetings for assigned client group.
- Evaluate industry best practices and business trends to identify opportunities that will improve the company’s competitive advantage.
- Provide business partner support for potential acquisitions and/or business expansions.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources.
- Certified HR designation or working towards is an asset.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or operations environment.
- Demonstrated progressive experience in a human resources role.
- Strong technical aptitude with hands-on experience in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft 365 Application Suite.
- Bilingual in English and French is a plus.
- Must be available to work on-site, and have the ability to travel, if required.
